May have? Misspoke? How exactly to you "misspeak" about which of the following happened: (a) you were shot at by snipers while covering your head and running for your car, or (b) you listened to a little girl read poetry before agonizing over which restaurant to choose for dinner?
There is only one way to say this: "she lied."
