Geraldine Ferraro lets her emotions do the talking - The Daily Breeze: "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position,' she continued. 'And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.'"

Well. So says Geraldine Ferraro, former VP candidate for Walter Mondale in 1984, currently major player in the Hillary Clinton campaign and undoubtedly speaking as one of the many surrogates for the candidate, saying the things Clinton wants said but doesn't want to say herself. How's that for tossing a stink bomb into the room? See what I mean when I say that the Clinton's will do and say absolutely anything to win, no matter how destructive it is for the party?

I find it particularly antagonistic (I can't think of a better word than that) to imply that this was said at the request of Clinton's campaign. Does Ferarro not have a mind and opinion of her own? Wouldn't the Clinton campaign be able to swing something a little more noteworthy than an interview with the Daily Breeze out of nowhere California?
I also think it is a particularly bad choice of words to express the sentiment. Could not the same be said for Clinton (and even Ferarro herself): that the only reason she is where she is is because she's a woman?
Hillary said that she regretted those words used, but did not force Geraldine to resign, unlike the foreign adviser to Obama that called Hillary "a monster" when talking about her tactics and behavior while campaigning in Ohio and Texas.
You tell me which is a worse insult. Why doesn't Geraldine have to resign? Why isn't Clinton forced to both reject and denounce her words like she did with Obama about Farrakhan, whom has absolutely no connection with his campaign whatsoever?
When she says she's using "kitchen sink tactics" doesn't that automatically mean you can assume the worst? I'm just saying is all.
