Is UIC protecting Barack Obama?

This is from Steve Diamond, a law professor and political scientist at the University of Santa Clara. It is his take on the bizarre refusal of UIC to permit a researcher to see documents in the library that deal with the relationship between Barack Obama and UIC education professor and former Weatherman/terrorist Bill Ayers. The internet is going nuts over this and UIC looks bad. It looks at this point like UIC may be protecting Obama, who may have been a lot closer to Ayers than he has admitted. The documents deal with something called the Annenberg Challenge, an education initiative that both of them were deeply involved with, it seems.
